Lone Pine Mountain Devil

Description: A bat like multi winged creature. Sometimes described as winged demons sent from hell. May be related to the Jersey Devil from the Pine Barrens region of New Jersey.

Location/Range: Lone Pine region of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. 

Sightings: Since 1871, the beasts have reportedly been known to attack livestock or humans, feasting mainly on the face and torso. 

Fun Fact: The Mountain Devil is rumored to hunt those who disturb or cause destruction to the natural habitat where it resides. It also targets those who do not believe in its existence.
